Dom DeLuise Passes Away

Movie legend, comedian and actor Dom DeLuise, best known for his roles in several Mel Brooks‘ classics, such as Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs and Robin Hood: Men in Tights, died today. He was 75 years old.

Fellow co-star and friend Burt Reynolds spoke about his friend passing away. "I was thinking the other day about this. As you get older you think about this more and more, I was dreading this moment. Dom always made everyone feel better when he was around. I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. I will miss him very much," Reynolds said in the statement.

DeLouise was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1933. He attended the School of Performing Arts in Manhattan and Tufts University.
He was married to the comedian and actress Carol Arthur. They have three sons, Peter, Michael and David.
