It could not have happened to a better guy. Of course he's rich, but he's no role model. He never grew up and the Dallas Cowboy's have had enough of his crap. For his 1,058 yards and 10 touchdowns he still lost his job as Dallas Cowboys wide receiver.
Why is it a good thing? Owens gives athletes and men a bad name. He's a jack azz. He does not see himself as accountable for anything he says or does; calling his former QB gay comes to mind. He's selfish to no end. In fact any QB that has not thrown him the ball enough ends up in his sights. He's ridiculed everyone except his Dallas QB which is ironic.
Owens doesn't even connect with fans. Well, he does as the first month he's signed to a team but eventually his welcome is worn as each cities base of fans get a dose of his narcissism.
After all this, you must ask yourself, should Terrell Owens be a role model for children to aspire to be like?
It just goes to show, despite a 12 million dollar signing bonus, he can still rub people the wrong way. You really need to be one major azz to have a team that gives a 12 million dollar signing bonus the mind to boot your azz after the season ends. Good riddance to bad baggage. May he never work in the NFL again.
