Evan Chandler - the father of Jordan Chandler, who accused Michael Jackson of molestation in the 1990s- was found dead in his Jersey City apartment. He was 65 years old. Officials claim Chandler was found with a .38-caliber revolver in his hand, but there was no note.In the 1990s, the Chandlers were awarded 20 million dollars from Michael Jackson, although Jackson was never officially charged with sexual abuse.
Jordan Chandler had since estranged himself from his father. He even went as far as getting a restraining order against his father. Evan Chandler allegedly hit his son with a dumbbell.
Family and friends have come forward stating that Chandler had become increasingly more depressed. He suffered from wild mood swings and depression.
