Preview: Lanvin for H&M

Our first sneak peek of Lanvin for H+M. Photographed by David Sims the campaign preview features Hannelore Knuts, Jane Schmitt, Tati Collitar and Natasha Poly. Apparently there will be thirty pieces of clothing for women and fifteen accessories, as well as clothing and accessories for men. Expect big lineups for the tuxedo jackets and one shouldered dresses come November!

Edited: Another Sneak Peek...Florals!

What do you think?

Lanvin for H&M, The Shore and Rue Magazine

I tweeted about it yesterday, so excited! It is on...
November 20th! Who else can't wait?

And did anyone else watch Jersey Shore last night? We were joking last week that a drinking game involving the word "done" would work well. At this point I think I would be in a drunken stupor with alcohol poisoning. Suffice it to say I think like Ronnie has acted like a jerk supreme this season--not really his style, it seems--but Sami is so annoying I can't even muster up any sympathy for her. I can't believe how she's treating Jenni and Snooki...I guess some people have to play the victim 24/7. I'm loving how Vinny is coming out of his shell this season and Angelina...ick. Just ick.

Oh, and check out this great preview of Rue Magazine, which can be found on Style Me Pretty. I'm so excited to see the finished product!

Flowers in 3-D

An alternative to the bright floral prints sure to be a trend this spring -- floral appliqués.  Whether small and understated or oversized and glam they're everwhere, just take your pick.  Me?  I really wouldn't mind that Valentino bag, but I'll settle for some of the great pieces from the H&M Garden Collection.

All Ruffled Up

Fun, flirty ruffles were seen all over the Spring 2010 runways and there are lots of reasonably priced options that allow you to sport the trend without breaking the bank.

In Bloom

Flowers and floral patterns were all over the Spring 2010 runways - big, small, monochromatic, bright, pastel, abstract, appliqués...there was no end to the way flowers will show up on clothes for the coming season.

Some of the "new" florals really remind me of the babydolls and bodysuits we had in the early 90s, which makes me wary, but thankfully there are enough gorgeous patterns out there that feel new to me so I'll be able to embrace this happy, feminine trend.
