PCM Review: The Hangover

We got a taste of the comedic talents of Bradley Cooper when he appeared in Wedding Crashers as Zachary "Sack" Lodge. Cooper's lead role in this film proved that he's only gotten better with time!

I really enjoyed a Saturday night at the movies this weekend! In The Hangover, Doug (Justin Bartha) and his three friends (Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zack Galifianakis) drive to Vegas for an unforgettable night. The groomsmen wake up the next day to find a baby, a tiger and ... no groom. The movie kicks in as the trio retrace what happened in a desperate search for the groom.

Like Wedding Crashers, this movie has you laughing the entire 2 hours. Just when you think the story can't get any crazier, it does. It completely stomped all over Will Ferrell's Land Of The Lost and is doing very well at the box office. The 5 other people that I saw this movie with all agreed that it's a laugh out loud, hilarious movie that puts you in a great mood and of course, warns all about the dangers of an out of control bachelor party.

Weekend Box Office Buzz

The Jonas Brothers 3D movie didn't turn out to be the mega-hit that movie execs were hoping it would be! "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience" came in at No. 2 with estimated three-day sales of $12.7 million, distributor Walt Disney Co said on Sunday. The studio had hoped for $15 million, which itself paled against wild industry forecasts that reached as high as $25 million. Well, c'mon, everything has been going right for The Jonas Brothers (Kevin, 21, Joe, 19 and Nick, 16) lately, they are huge. So what if their movie didn't do so well - a little taste of failure for them, I say!

What movie made it to No. 1 this weekend? The comedy "Madea Goes To Jail," was number one for the second week in a row. The movie earned $16.5 million, taking its 10-day total to $64.9 million!

Meanwhile, "Slumdog Millionaire" jumped two places to a new high of No. 3, on the heels of its eight Oscar wins last Sunday.
