Here's a first look at Blake Lively's new ads for Chanel's Mademoiselle handbag, shot by Karl Lagerfeld himself. (This is the same red bag Blair carried in the last Gossip Girl episode). What do you think? Me, I think Blake is stunning and can wear just about everything but this image is kinda...boring. And Blake looks a little sickly. Agree or disagree?

Kate Middleton appeared at a Shrove Tuesday event in Ireland yesterday wearing a ruffled Burberry trench coat paired with dark hose, shoes and bag. What do you think of the future Princess' look? I quite like the coat myself. Apparently one well wisher in the crowd asked Kate when she was going to stop losing weight and Middleton replied that it was "all part" of the wedding planning. [via]

Quiet New Years Eve For Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson will spend Tomorrow eating pizza and watching ‘The Twilight Zone’ on Syfy.

The 25-year-old actress – who is married to actor Ryan Reynolds – will see in 2010 with a take away, champagne and a marathon viewing session of the cult show because of work commitments.

She said: “We’re both working on New Year’s Day anyway. So, we won’t do much. You know, pizza would be nice, a little champagne. Maybe watch the ‘Twilight Zone’ marathon. That’s always a favourite for me.”

The screen beauty is “over” big celebratory parties and much prefers a quiet night in these days.

She laughed: “Going from one party to the next and surfing to find the right thing, and being in a taxicab when the clock strikes — I’m so over that stuff. At the ripe old age of 25. I have the most fun when I’m surrounded by people I love in one place that’s comfortable and we can hear each other. You can play card games, watch movies, I’m happy.”

Iron Man 2 cast update

Can you say "Ya nim-noga penny myuichka Pa-Rooskee?" Let's hope Scarlett Johansson can.

The revolving door of cast members in Iron Man 2 has made another turn in just two days, and the rumor is that Scarlett Johansson has snatched the coveted role of Black Widow, the Ruskia agent and probable love interest of Tony Stark in the next Iron Man movie.

While others has reportedly wanted the role and some actively sought out the role, Scarlett stole the job without batting an eye. Only days ago Eliza Dushku rolled out her own Internet campaign to earn the job who also has learned some Russian.

Meanwhile for those of you not in the know, Robert Downey Jr. has ended speculation that Mickey Rouke is part of the production. The role of Crimson Dynamo is now officially up for grabs again. Heck, who knows--maybe Crimson isn't even in the next film. The loose lips in the production of the film may be the cause of such changes and shake-ups.
